GMAX4651 4.6 um 51MP global shutter image sensor
The GMAX4651 delivers 51MP resolution and 8k video at 30 fps with a dynamic range of 65 dB. It’s 4.6 μm global shutter pixel has a peak QE over 67% and exceptional PLS of <-92 dB. A standard 35 mm optical format facilitates easy and cost-effective lens selection for applications ranging from broadcast imaging to surveillance.

The 51MP GMAX4651 delivers 8k video at 30 fps in a 35 mm optical format, making it ideal for applications in broadcast imaging, surveillance, aerial mapping and biometrics. It’s large 4.6 um pixel easily provides 65 dB of dynamic range, excellent sensitivity with a peak QE of 67%, and exceptional PLS at <-92 dB. At full resolution and full speed, the power dissipated is less than 2.8 W. 12bit data is delivered via 24 pairs of sLVDS channels, and channel multiplexing allows operation of the sensor through 14, 8, 6 or 4 channels. The sensor is assembled in a 238-pin PGA package for excellent reliability and heat dissipation. Available in both monochrome and Bayer versions, the GMAX4651 can provide excellent 8k video or high resolution stills for traditional and non-traditional video and photography applications.
