We understand that not every application can be addressed with our range of standard off-the-shelf CMOS image sensors. That’s why at Gpixel we continue to build on our portfolio to ensure we have the right range of image sensors to meet as many high-performance applications as possible. However, we know that the specific requirements of some applications mean they just need a unique combination of optical format, sensitivity, frame rate or imaging accuracy for example. At Gpixel we are always happy to discuss with our customers how we can help get the right balance of features and functionality into a volume production product. That could be anything from a simple adjustment to an existing parameter or by customizing colour filters, micro lenses and test specification right up to a fully customized IC and package, developing improvements in sensitivity, dynamic range, frame rate, and even integrating new functionality. Of course, once the design and layout are complete and following in-house product test and qualification, the completed design is transferred into volume production. The finalized custom CMOS image sensor can then be delivered along with the life-long maintenance and customer support that goes with all our image sensors. And as part of our proven internal process we take the strictest security measures to ensure confidentiality and no customized product is made publicly available without receiving prior permission.
