In September we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Gpixel as a company.
Xinyang Wang, our Chairman and CEO recalls: “We started very humble in a small office with 4 engineers. The Chinese CMOS Imaging industry just started, and we wanted to be part of it. In the beginning there were more questions than answers: can we develop such high-end technology in China, what markets should we address, how to define new products. All founders were engineers at heart with the simple but strong desire to create technology to improve life quality. Now 10 years later our dreams became reality. A lot of skilled, like-minded people joined Gpixel the past 10 years to help building Gpixel being to go to partner for advanced CMOS Image Sensors”.
Over the past decade Gpixel grew to a company of 300 people with 4 office locations in China (Changchun, Hangzhou, Dalian and Beijing) as well as subsidiary offices in Antwerp, Belgium and Tokyo, Japan. Together with our strong partners and employees we will continue working hard and strive to become a better employer for our employees, an outstanding supplier for our customer and a more reliable partner for all our subcontractors. Many thanks to everyone which contributed to this wonderful journey so far. Let us continue our humble journey into the next decade.
Starting August 1st, 2022, Gpixel Changchun Optotech, Inc, (“Gpixel”) has moved to a new office address at Building #5, Optoelectronic Information Industrial Park, #7691 Ziyou Road, Changchun, Jilin, China. With this move, we relocate our headquarters office and testing operations into a new building with expanded space and services to support our continued business growth.

This makes it possible to contain more test equipment including that needed for wafer prober test, sensor final test, reliability tests, and more. We are now preparing new test equipment to increase our production capacity, so that we can continue to meet the increasing demand for Gpixel products.
